Isaac is 8

We had Isaac's birthday at the park yesterday. We had a great bbq, thanks to his dad, and then lots of cake and ice cream. I'm realizing how spoiled my kids really are. He got a DS, a game for the DS, Mario Kart Wii, Lego Indiana Jones for the Wii, plenty of cash, and loads of other gifts. We had a pinata too, but it wasn't a very good one. One hit, and it broke, but fortunately it was filled with enough candy that no one complained about not being able to hit it. Then, of course, the silly string came out along with the water balloons. It was a great day, and I can hardly believe my little Hawaii boy is growing up so fast.

First Day of School!

Last week was the first day of school for the three heathens. Ivan and Isaac started on Monday, but Ana had to wait until Tuesday. They were all really excited, and Ana was so independant, it almost killed me! She didn't even want me to walk her in to school. She only wanted Isaac to take her. I did walk her in anyway, but I didn't get hugs or anything, just knuckles.

Protesting the Protesters

While walking in London, we spotted this protester (protesters?) who had set up camp on a sidewalk, protesting the Iraq war.

Notice the guy on the far left? He is holding THIS sign:

London

Saturday afternoon, we went to London to stay a few days with Aidy's dad, Colin, and Dawn. We had a great time, and did some sightseeing in London. It was the first time since I've been here that I've heard other American accents!

Here Y'all Go!

Here are a few pictures just to tide you over. I'll post more next week when I have a little more time and when everyone else has emailed theirs.
